Came to Utah Sept. 15, 1861, Ira Eldredge company.  Married Jane Fawson June 27, 1859 (daughter of Abraham Fawson and Ann Hodrienne, latter died May 18, 1864, on the way to Utah)...Married Emma Fairless Brown (daughter of David Brown and Emma Fairless), who was born Nov. 28, 1865, Salford, Yorkshire, Eng... Assistant clerk of Tooele stake; tithing clerk.  Clerk of Grantsville ward 38 years; city and county assessor and collector.

PIONEER:
    Came to Utah in the Ira Eldredge Company, 1861, as specified above.
