Ambrose Greenwell was sealed to Elizabeth Brindley Hill in the Endowment House
by Brigham Young on 6 Jul 1861. One of the witnesses was W. W. Phelps.

There was a newspaper clipping of a lady who lived in Emmett, Idaho that was
the grand daughter of Ambrose Greenwell and Elizabeth Brindley Hill. This
information comes from Tiene Greenwell Brown. She was pictured with the dress
she wore as special and the greenwell family bible. It was a very interesting
story how they sang around the campfire on the trail and would sing Come, Come,

Francis Greenwell was born aboard a steamer near
White Cloud, Missouri. Info from "Tullidge's History" says that the name of the
steamboat was Asa Wilges, Asa Hopkins, Captain (see story of Ambrose Greenwell
Sr.)

Francis worked at the Logan Temple at the same time as Mother Eliza Greenwell
and Charles Henry Greenwell.
Francis was called on a mission for the church in 1883. While on this mission
he was in a cart accident in Scotland. He had a compound facture and some
elbow bone had to be taken out. He came home from his mission in Nov 1885. He
did not like farm work and became a butcher. Lived in Watts CA 1929-1939.
Endowment reconfirmed and all former sealings ratified
for Maud Greenwell 15 Nov 1968.
Baptism date is later than endowment.

He married Elizabeth Brindley Hill 25 Sep 1854 at Walsall, Stafford, England . Elizabeth Brindley Hill was born at Wolverhampton, Stafford, England 29 Jul 1835 daughter of Henry Hill and Louisa Brindley .
