Born in Big Tancook Island, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Celesta (Stevens) Heisler. She was a member of Little Tancook Baptist Church, Little Tancook. She was a life member of Women's Missionary Society, Chester United Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Andrew, Halifax; John, Little Tancook Island; Joseph Seabright; three daughters, Frances (Mrs. Jessen Levy), Little Tancook Island; Meretha (Mrs. Bruce Cleveland), Tobemory, Ont.; Audrey (Mrs. John Mosher), Chester; six sisters, Nellie (Mrs. Arden Corkum), Chester; Ann (Mrs. Tom Doolen, Boston; Heddie ( Mrs. Fred DeMont), St. Croix, Hants County; June (Mrs. Walter Corkum), Chester; Celesta (Mrs. Clarence William), Ottawa; Betty (Mrs. Robert Cummington), Sutherland's River; three brothers, Benjamin Heisler, East Chester; Joseph Heisler, Blandford; Reuben Heisler, East Chester; 31 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel; son, Robert; two brothers, Owen, Fred; two sisters, Zoe, Olive. The body is in Davis Funeral Home, Chester. Funeral will be held 2:30 pm today, United Baptist Church, Rev. Bernard Armstrong officiating. Burial in Pinehill Cemetery, Chester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
