Mrs. Parker Cruikshank - Obituary Mrs. Parker Cruikshank, 56, of 43 Coronation Ave., Halifax, died Tuesday. Born in Tancook Island, Lunenburg County, she was the former Melda Heisler, daughter of the late Colin and Blanche Heisler. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Cyril, Liverpool, and Paul, at home; two daughters, Carol (Mrs. Wayne Wright), New Minas; and Jacqueline (Mrs. Gregory Cook), Fredericton, NB; two brothers Wilfred and Lindsay, both of Tancook; five sisters, Jean (Mrs. Arthur Levy), Tancook Island; Bentie, Margaret (Mrs. Douglas Levy) and Carrie (Mrs. Bruce Levy), all of Halifax, and Ruby (Mrs. Edward Cox), Dartmouth. She was predeceased by an infant son, Terry, and a brother, Charlie. The body is at the Halifax Funeral Home, Quinpool Road. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Mulgrave Park Baptist Church. Dr. Ronald MacCormick of Woodstock will officiate, assisted by Rev. John Bartol. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by son, Mark and his wife Elaine, Tancook Island; brother,Wilfred, Tancook Island;sisters, Bentie, Halifax; Ruby(Mrs.Eddie Cox),Dartmouth;Jean Levy, Shoreham Village Home,Chester; Grandchildren, Brittany and Sheena. He was predeceased by his wife,the former Sadie Irene Rhodenhiser; daughter, Charlotte; sisters, Carrie, K.K. Karlsen fish processing plant in Blandford. He is survived by son, Mark andhis wife Elaine, Tancook Island; brother,Wilfred, Tancook Island;sisters, Bentie, Halifax; Ruby(Mrs.Eddie Cox),Dartmouth;Jean Levy, Shoreham Village Home,Chester; Grandchildren, Brittany and Sheena. Margaret Pearl - 69, Halifax, died October 19,1995, in Halifax. Born at Big Tancook Island, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Colin and Blanche (Levy) Heisler. She was a member of Mulgrave Park Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Douglas; sons, Michael, Rawdon; Peter, Bedford; Carter, Amherst; daughters, Bonnie, Timberlea; Susan, Halifax; brothers, Lindsay, Wilfred, Big Tancook Island; sisters, Jean Levy, Big Tancook Island; Bentie Heisler, Carrie Levy, Halifax; Ruby Cox, Dartmouth; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Melda Cruikshank; brother, Charlie. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday in T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, Bedford. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday in Mulgrave Park Baptist Church, Rev. Steven Hopper officiating. Burial Tuesday in Little Tancook Island Cemetery for family and close friends only. Donations to any charity. Ferry leaving Tuesday for Island 10:30 a.m. will be returning by 1:30 p.m.
