From Pioneers and Prominent Men of Utah, p. 1175: He came to Utah 10 Oct 1848with his father. Seventy; presiding elder of Parley's Park. Sent team to Missouri river withprovisions for poor immigrants. Minuteman during Indian trobles. While on tripto Fort Bridger, Wyo., he was often forced to keep the mules moving all nightso they would not freeze to death; they had eaten the blankets off one anotherbecause of scarcity of food. Died 11 Oct 1905, Parley's Park, Utah.
