                   NOTE:
Per was 22 years old when he married his first wife, 22 year old Kerstin. They had been married for 21 years at the time of her death in 1678. They created 13 children together -- four of whom died in infancy. Per was 43 years old when he married his second wife, 171/2 year old Karin in 1679. When they were married he brought 5 children under the age of 10 into the marriage and within one year of his marriage to Karin had THEIR first child Daniel. They were married for 25 years and had 11 children -- 8 surviving to adulthood. The last children born to this couple were the twins -- Jakob and Karin -- born when Per was 63 years old. Per died in 1704 when he was 69 years of age.
