Mollie was a school tacher and never married; her fiancee died on battle field in Virginia writting Aunt Mollie a letter.  Blood was runing down on the paper he was writting on.  Someone picked up the half finished letter and mailed it to Mollie Owens.  Margaret Ann Owens Evans grand daughter saw the letter but has sense been lost.

Oscar's mother, Sally, had the measles when he was born and Oscar was mentally handicaped.  He was raised by his Aunt Mary "Molly"  Owens
