Notes:
Marriage: Absalom Price married Gladys Haslem Mecham 29 September 1947. He purchased her farm from her, paying her in full. They then resided on this farm until his death. He raised alfalfa, wheat, barley, oats, etc., and produced grade "A" milk from his small dairy herd.

Absalom Price sometimes used the initial "H" as a middle name, probably because his mother's maiden name was Hall. However, his birth certificate shows his name as Absalom Price.

Film - 1750707 in FHL in Salt Lake City, Utah. On card #33 shows Application
for Marriage from 1913-1923 in Uintah County. Ab and Mamie applied for license.

BIRTH: Born in house in Maeser.

BLESSING: Was given in what was then known as the Mill Ward but was later changed to Maeser Ward on 5 April, 1894 by R.S. Collett.

NAME: No one knows why sometimes the "H" is an initial in his name. Nothing can be found for sure. It was a fad at that time to have an inital.

DEATH: Died in Vernal Hospital. Clara Price was with him. She said she could hear his lungs filling up with fluid.

OCCUPATION: Was a farmer, miner, prospector, teamster (horse and wagon). Freighted for the Postal Service.

BURIAL: Buried in the Maeser Fairview Cemetary, Vernal, Uintah, Utah.

History: When they married, Ab sold his farm in Maeser and bought Gladys' farm on the road from U.S. 40 to Maeser and they lived in the house on her (former) property.

HISTORY: Actually div/seperated? from #2 Gladys and then they came back together again. When they married Grandpa sold his farm in Maeser, along old Maeser highway and bought Gladys' property located on the road from Highway 40 to the Maeser Cemetary, under the "U" and they lived in her house. He at one time didn't make a payment due on it to her so she sued him. They broke up but got back together later.

Notes:
Baby Girl Price was born premature. Family memberss state that she was born in the spring of 1932, therefore would have been born in the covenant.
Some other records indicated the birth in 1931. This would indicate that sealing to parents would be necessary. Sealing to parents was done in the Bountiful Utah Temple 8 December 2009.
