                   Note:  The ancestral connection of Robert Bryce who married Elizabeth Gardner in 1807, and were the father and mother Elizabeth Bryce, who married Daniel Currie Hill has been made from age given in 1861 census of Canada, age at death and age in Assessment rollss of Essa Twp Canada, and known place of residence of Bryce family in Glasgow and Rutherglen from records left  by early members of the family.  Area search revealed no conflict and connection is sustansiated by Scottish of naming of children.  Robert's first son and second daughter were named John and Isabel.
