Note: occupation- farmer, cause of death- pneumonia In a deed, dated 5 March 1833, James G. Oliver gave to his children James, Mary, John, Hannah, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Macy, twelve slaves. These wer probably children of his wife, Charity; and this deed was made in Jones County, North Carolina, and just before he moved to Dooly County, Georgia.
He married Dorothy Murphy or Mullins Abt 1835 at of Dooly, Georgia . Dorothy Murphy or Mullins was born at Georgia Abt 1810 .
