Notes:
Darlene Hansen spelled this name as Redman --- I had it as Redmond Carol Hartwig
One of her marriage documents had Winnifred spelled as Winnefred, so I changed it. Carol

Winnefred Redman and her husband Richard Sanford moved to Scott County , Kentucky after the Revolution in the year 1795. The family story goes that they were staying with a good military friend named Colonel Robert Johnson (will of Richard Sanford, Book D, page 126 Scott County, Kentucky)
and then Richard died, near Great Crossings in Scott County. . He had sold his land in Virginia and turned it into gold. At the time of his death, he still had the bulk of this money in his possession.
Uncle Robert Sandford 's mother Elizibeth Mai Sandford told him the story that the Lawyer " took charg of the gold on pleas of meeting the expenses of administration but no part of it ever after reached Winnefred.

After Richard's Death, his widow, Winnefred, returned to Kenton County, Kentucky to be near his sister, and other firends of her Virginia Days. Her marriage with Richard had resulted in the birth of three child, and possible others. (Notes from uncle Robert SAndford)

Solomon Redmon in his will mentions a grand-son of the name of Solomon Redmon SAnford: who may have been a child of this union, or he may have had still another SAnford son-in -law. But the most known children were Thomas, Elzabeth and Catherine.

From IGI I found a marriage record of Virginia about 1776 to a Richard Sandford batch F81153
She would only be 16. The family history says she was 20 . ( Carol Hartwig)

Name may have been Redmond, first name may have been Winifred, death place may
have been Covington or Ludlow Ky.

I found this LDS information on the IGI November of 2007
The IGI information had the same birth year as her sister Winnifred so I changed it one year different.
