Robert H. Sandford was 6 years old when Civil War broke out, so must have been born in 1856, according to Robert Sandford of Chatanoong, Dec 26, 1997. He had a brother who died in Civil War, name unknown.
Uncle Robert Sandford said that Robert H. died 28 of Aug 1926 in Russell Kentucky and was buried in the Burlington cemetery in Kentucky. Carol Hartwig
