NOTE: 1. Served as a Private in the 9th Virginia Regiment in the Revolutionary War. Taken prisoner by the British on 4 Oct 1777. He was paid $15.46 as balance of pay due the Prisoners of Captain Nathaniel G. Morris' Company of the 9th Virginia Regiment. He was captured a the Battle of Germantown, along with over 400 other men of the 9th Virginia Regminent.
Notes:
NOTE: 1. Served as a Private in the 9th Virginia Regiment in the Revolutionary War. Died in the war. His family was paid $21.56 as "balance of pay due the dead men of the 9th Virginia Regiment".
