Kuriakitsa had a total of 9 children. I only know the names of 5, and only have records for Agapula and Vacilios. She had a set of twins, I think after George, who died at the age of 3 from a desease that was going around at the time.

Notes:
My mother mentioned that her mothher, Agapula, also had a brother whose name was George who lived in Los Angeles. I found a George Christ and the dates and places fit so I used it to make this record.
It came from the 1920 United States Census, Film Number 1820095, Digital Folder Number 4293695, Image Number 00935, Sheet Number 14. But he lives in Conta Costa County so I don't know if he is the right one.

Birth: Information came from death certificate filed in the County of San
Diego, Registration District No. 3754, Registrar's Number 1960

On the index of the 1920 Census for Los Angeles, Agapula's name was entered as "Agapla Adoni or Adini." Her place of birth was listed as Constantinople.

Agapula died at Edgmoor Farms in Santee. We aren't sure if the birth date is
correct. She is burried at Mr. Hope Cemetary section (Mason, U,,3,86)

Her children Chris and Artemis are twins.

On July 14, I found a record of the marriage of Agapula and Paul Metsiopoulos, formerly unknown, we knew she was married but we didn't know his name. She said she left him when she found out that he was a bigamist. Whether or not this is true we don't know. Now I can't find the web site were I found the information. But it said the information was from California, County Marriages, 1850-1952, Film Number 1033288, Digital Folder Number 4540627, Image Number 00568. I found this record by looking for Agapula Christ. I just tried it on a whim becuse her brother had shortened his last name to Christ.

Birth:
10 Jan 1897
of Marmara Island, Turkey
Death:
20 Dec 1931
National City, San Diego, California
Notes:
Burial: Death Certificate, San Diego County. Burried at Greenwood Cemetery,
San Diego, CA, his burial plot is in the Cypress Place area lot #119 space #1.

NOTE: On the death certificate, his mothers last name is spelled Lampadarios instead of Labadrius as it is on his sister's (Agapula) marriage certificate. We do not know which is correct.

NOTE: When I went to find his grave I went to the office to find out where it was. In the office he is listed as Vasilios Christophil, but on the gravestone his name is Bill Christ.

NOTE: Uncle Bill was somewhat of a lady's man. He had a maid who's husband got jeolous and shot Uncle Bill as he stood on the front porch of his home on his Hog ranch in Otay. The man was William H. Vincent and was not prosecuted
(jailed) because he had a family to support.

NOTE: A naturalization record was found on line and couldn't be found again. He was naturalized in 1929 at San Diego Superior Court. The reference for the information is: Naturalization Index Cards from the The Superior Court of San Diego, CA, 1868-1958. NARA Publication Number M1526, NARA Roll Number 1. The name was Bill Christ

NOTE: August 4, 2011. I found the Declaration of Intention for naturalization for Bill Christ on footnote.com/image/82774287. I also found the ship manifest that he came over on, it was the Argentina on July 12, 1913. I think that was on Ancestry.com. He was listed as single in 1930 on his naturalization papers and that is wife was in Turkey in 1922. Note, birthdate of 9 Dec 1897 was given in the Naturalization papers.

NOTE: His name was spelled Bassilios Christafilou on the certificate of arrival at Ellis Island, and Bill Christ was written in by hand above his name.
