October 2007,  I deducted from the 1860 and 1850 census that sometimes he was called Henry and sometimes George.

On the IGI North America  I found a mariage record for George and Cyntha (probably Cynthia)P. Loucks and George H. Elkerton on November 22, 1868.  This would coincide with the 1870 census where it says they have a son Norman who is 1 year old.
