Name on the 1850 U. S. Cencus is Arwood enstead of Harwood. It could be the folks had such a southern accent that it sounded like Arwood enstead of Harwood to the Census taker or it could be the name spelling was changed. My Great Grandmother Mary Ann Morrison Harwood Adams spelled it Harwood as do all her inlaws in Tennessee do today in year 2006. By:Richard Adams
