mention of his age is his marriage record to Euphemia Knox (seebelow).  On
this document he was listed as 34 years old on 23 JUN 1865.  Familyrecords
indicate he was born in Kilkeel (aka Kirkeel), County Down, Ireland.He is
seen on most records as born in County Down.  Parents are identifiedon
marriage record to Euphemia Knox (see below); also Fremont, Utah LDSward
membership records, page 23 (FHL #025941).

sealings of couples indicates that Elizabeth was proxy for HenryChesnut's 1st
wife so that they could be sealed on 03 JUL 1876.  It is believed thatHenry
Chesnut and Elizabeth Cherrington were married for time only at thattime.
Elizabeth was already sealed to John Francis Berry, Endowment Housesealings
couples (FHL #183401-R).

Birth: Fremont, Utah LDS ward mem recs, page 30 (FHL #025491).  Georgeoften
gave his place of birth as Teasdale, Utah, which is near Fremont.  TheFremont
ward record states he was born in Spencer, Utah.  Fremont wasorganized as the
Spencer Branch in FEB 1886, just days before George was born.  Theconfusion
with Teasdale was probably because Thomas Clark Day lived at Teasdalewhen he
married George's mother in 1888, and they moved onto his ranch. Rainbow
Views: A History of Wayne County (Dup, 1953) page 266 indicates thatThomas
Day and William Clark (his uncle) filed on land in Teasdale Ward in1887.  The
area was then part of Piute County.
