Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, on 1 Sep 1914.  Informant Wm. Arthur
GUNSON stated that George was born 4 Jul 1859 to Robt. GUNSON
(birthplace: Ireland) and unknown name of mother (birthplace: Ireland).

GUNSON residing there as a miner, age 24, (Evidence #14); Rachel
GUNSON residing there as a "Servt," age 20, and John GUNSON residing

Regarding the actual name of George Gunson:

The 1910 census of Denver, CO., shows George as Charles Gunson. He is listed as Charles George Gunson in several Internet entries. In the 1900 census of Denver, he is listed as George Gunnison. The Michael Gunson family of Santa Barbara, CA, has asked us to leave off the Charles name because they do not believe it was part of his name or was an on-going family name.
