NOTE: Civil War record states taht Jackson B. Holdren was mustered out on 21 July 1862 and that he did not survive the war. It is assumed he died on the date he mustered out. Mary J. Holdren, born 1865, is listed with his wife in the 1870 census. Mary and Lydia, born 1871, are listed with her in the 1880 census as her daughters. Lydia listed her father as Jackson B. Holdren. These girls are possibly the childreno f Jackson B. Holdren but are more likley the illegitamate daughters of Mary Melinda Waldron.
