                   Robert Mortimer is listed along with his father-in-law John Howard asamong the fallen at the Battle of Bosworth Field 22 Aug 1485.  His placeof residence is listed as Thorpe le Soken, Tendring, Essex, England.  Idon't think he was born there, but he may have been residing near hisfather in law, the Duke of Norfolk, who lived in Tendring.  One person insoc.genealogy.medieval states he was of Mortimer's Hall, but gives noancestry for him.  Someday I will determine Robert's ancestry.
