Thomas Swain of Shirlits in Parish of Morvil about 1715, at Bethouse Montgomeryshire,Wales, Great Britain. Elizabeth his wife, lived together about seventy years, had ten children. From Isaac Swain's Bible.
Isaac may have been one of the younger childre, as his father was 43 years old at his birth. All of the records were destroyed by the British and Indian Wars.
I don't know what a 1739 date I had was.
