                   1870 - he was a hireling at Soloman Maul's nbext door. Listed as Frank. O.
Went by Pierce F. Was a blacksmith in 1880. He was living in Paradise Township. Listed in the 1880 census as Pierce, next door to his  mother.
He had at least 2 grandsons who lived with him during various census. Richard Resh, born about 1912 (in the 1920 census), and William Resh, who was born about 1903, who was in the 1910 Census. They were all born in PA.
1900 census he was living in Paradise. Joanna, William and Katie are with him. He was a blacksmith.
I have photographed his grave. His wife, daughter and other grandson are with him.
He was living with Soloman Maul as a Hireling during the 1870 census.
1913 - he sold his blacksmith stand and dwellling in Paradise to Mathias Grim. Aug.
1915 he was living in Abbottstown. (Howard's obit)  He was called Pierce.
1918 he was living in Abbottstown.
1920 - had sold his home to Rev. and Mrs. Lau. It was one mile east of Abbottstown.
1930 - living in York with William.

F. Pierce Graff, 84, who for many years conducted a blacksmith shop along the Lincoln Highway, west of York, died Monday morning. Death was caused by a combination of diseases, following a lingering illness. Surviving are a son, William Graff, York; a brother Uriah, West York and 4 sisters.

                   IGI has birthdate of Nov 1887. This can't be as she is listed as 2 or 3 in the 1880 census.
1900 census, she was with her parents and she was 24 years old and single.
1910 - living with Michael in West Manheim. She had 5 children, 4 alive. William and Jacob was not with them. Jacob I know had died.
1930 - living as a servant, close to where Catherine Graff Rebert was.
1934 - she had 2 grandchildren. I don't know who they belonged to yet.  (2 Aug 2009)

Headstone has a date of 1875. Buried with her parents. There is a small grave next to them,
He is Jacob, son of Katie and Michael S. Resh. May 19, 1905 - Apr 24 1906, aged 11 months.
Headstone has Kate.
Marriage announcement has Kate. L. Graff.

Katie L. Graff, fifty-eight years old, daughter of Pierre and the late Joanna Graff, died at 1 a.m. Sunday at Stony Brook, after an illness extending over a period of two years. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. The deceased is survived by the following children: William Resh, York, and Mrs. Lewis King, Weiglestown; two grandchildren; her aged father, Pierce Graff, of York, and one brother, William Graff, York. The funeral was held on Tuesday. The Rev. Paul Gladfelter, Abbottstown, officiated, Interment was made in teh Abbottstown cemetery.

Could he possibly have a son Harold? Mentioned at Pierce's party in 1930 (Mrs. William Graff, and son Harold).

WIlliam W. Graff, 93, York, husband of the late Minnie M. Altland Graff, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday at York Hospital.
Mr. Graff was born in Abbottstown, son of the late Pierce and Anna Graff. He had been retired for about 20 years from the Hotel Penn, where he had worked in the maintenance department.
His only immediate survivors are two granddaughters. There are five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. C.R. Ness, chaplain at Pleasant Acres, will officiate at graveside services in Mount Rose Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
