                   1900 census - Had him as William H.  - maybe F. Living in New Oxford.  he was a dry goods dealer.  His parents were from PA.
1910 - living in New Oxford. He was a dry goods merchant.
1920 - living in New Oxford. He was a machinist in a private garage.
A newspaper article in 1906 stated that Mrs. Uriah Graff and little daughter, of Eberton, spent a few days with Mrs. W.F. Sheely, Philadelphia street. Mr. Harry Graff of York, visited at the same place.

Living in New Oxford in 1918.

Susanna Stover's obit had his name as William.
Pete's past family tree had the middle name as Franklin.

Director of Bank and Prominent worker in Lodge and civic affairs dies
William F. Sheely, former merchant and prominent in Civic affairs in New Oxford, died at his home on Wed evening at 9:20 o'clock from complications of diseases after an illness of 1 year. He was aged 69 years , 4 months and 6 days.
Mr. Sheely conducted a store at New Oxford with his brother for a number of years. He was a director in the Farmers and Merchants Bank of New Oxford, and was also treasurer of the Masonic lodge of that place, and likewise a charter member of Washington Camp, 22, P.O.S. of A. He was a lifelong member of the Reformed Church of that place.
   Surviving him are his wife, who before her marriage was Miss Ida Graff, two sisters, Mrs. H.C. Sanders of Gettysburg, and Mrs. H. E. Wolff, of Rural Valley, and a brother Edwin D. Sheely, Memphis Tennessee.
Funeral services Sat morning at his late home. Interment in the cemetery at New Oxford.

Mrs. Ida Sheely, 85, widow of William P. Sheely, died at her home, Lincolnway east, New oxford, Tues morning at 11:05 from a complication of diseases.
She was a native of York county, a daughter of the late Barnett and Susan (Stover) Graff. Mrs. SHeely was a well-known as an antique dealer. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, New Oxford, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hoffman orphanage. Her husband died 25 years ago.
Surviving are two sister, Mrs. Clara Maul, Miullbra, CA; and Mrs. Katie Rebert, Hanover.  A number of nephews and nieces also survive.
Funeral services Friday at 2 PM, interment in the New Oxford cemetery.

The will of Ida L. Sheely, New Oxford, has been entered for probate at the office of the county register and recorder. Bequests of $500 to St. Paul's Reformed Church, New Oxford, and $500 to Hoffman orphanage are provided from the $13,750 estate. Other amounts and specific bequests of furniture and antiques are made to relatives. Myrtle G. Baugher, Roselle, N.J.; Grace Graff, York, and Harold Graff, Martinsburg, W.
