                   OBITUARY: WOOSTER, OH Mary Louise Caler, 87, formerly of Abbottstown, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at the Horn Nursing Home in Wooster, Ohio. Mary was the loving wife of Sterling Caler, who died June 3, 2008. Born February 18, 1922, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Annie Mae (Mummert) Resh. Mary Louise was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover. She worked at the former Hanover Shoe Company and retired from the former Whitman's Pharmacy in Hanover after numerous years of service as a pharmacy clerk. Mary Louise was an avid roller skater. Mary Louise is survived by two sons, Steve and wife, Carol of Wooster, Ohio, and Terry and wife, Sally of Mechanicsville, Va.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rosella Shultz. A service to celebrate and remember Mary Louise's life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut St., Hanover, with the Rev. Jack Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. Viewings and times to share memories with the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, as well as from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Contributions in honor of Mary Louise may be made to The Hospice Program of the Hanover VNA, 440 N. Madison St., Hanover, PA 17331.
