Francis J. WILSON

                   I had a birthdate of 1829, but as I said that would put the mother as fairly old.

There is a Francis J. Wilson who married a Mrs. Augusta Malone on 25 Jun 1865, at St. Johns.

1850 - There is  a Francis Wilson, a laborer, living in Berwick, it looks like he is 36, but maybe 31.
He is married to: Julia, aged 30
Children: Mary Jane, aged 5
                   Julia F., aged 3
                   Alice, aged 1

There is a Francis J. Wilson who had a tavern license on Berwick Borough in 1856, 1859 - 1872.
There was a FJ - uncle of William F. Hollinger, who was 55 in 1880, living with them.  He is listed as divorced.

Michael Hoffman and others vs. Francis J. Wilson - Ejectment to recover 46 acres and 9 percheed of land. In default of payment of $1200, alleged to be a lien on the land. Verdict for Defendant. Motion for a new trial.

Gettysburg Compiler 13 May 1871 - Burgleries - Arrest - On Friday morning week, the hotel of Mr. Francus J. Wilson, in Abbottstown, this county, was entered by burglars. At about two oclock, A.M.  Mr. Wilson arose to have breakfast prepared for a guest who desired to leave early in the morning. Finding the time not as late as he expected, he sat down intending to wait awhile before calling the cook. Presently he heard the door open which leads to the cellar from the dining room, and upon going there he was confronted bu a man who struck him a sudden blow in the face with a brick. Mr. W. called for help, when he was again struck, and fell to the floor unconscious. The burglars then made off, but with nothing of much value.
