-His will was dated 2 Dec 1841, codicil dated 28 Mar 1843. Probated 26 Sep 1845. "Huntingdon County Wills", Vol IV, at Huntingdon. It stated Robison Andrew, late of Warrior's Mark Twp. Codicil: dated 28 Mar 1843: daughter Elizabeth Stonebraker had died, her children: John A., David T., Samuel A., Austin F., Cordelia Jane, John Robison Stonebraker. Page 442. I took the spelling from a paper about the book, not the actual book. I question some of these spellings.
-He was noted to be of Scotch extraction and an early settler of Huntingdon County.
-The Robeson Homestead, which is now part of Shoomac Park near Germantown, PA. was occupied by the British, during the revolution, while the Robesons still owned it. The house is no longer standing.
I have a death date of 5 Oct 1845, but this would be after the will was probated.
I also have a death place of Birmingham, Huntingdon County, PA. I have a death date of Sep also.

An Historical Account of ANDREW ROBESON of Scotland and of His Descendents - by Susan Stroud Robeson, Caroline Franciscus Stroud - Compiled, edited and published by Kate Hamilton Osborne - J.B. Lippincott Company, Philadelphia - copyright 1916)
pgs 120-121: Andrew Robeson lived first in Adams County, PA near Gettysburg, and afterwards, about 1792, or 1793 moved to Huntingdon County, PA. Many of his descendents have settled in the Western States. His wife was born in Ireland, her mother however, was a native of Wales; the family first came to America when Rosamond was five years old; her sister married William, a brother of Andrew Robeson.

Andrew's son Moses, used to speak of a relative of his father's, an uncle, from NC, who visited them when Moses was a boy. He told them of the condition of NC after the Revolution, and that the a county in NC was named for the "Robeson" family. The uncle was doubtless David Robeson, uncle to Andrew.
From the late Mr. David Robeson of Lewiston, PA.

David Robeson was one of the executors of his estate.

Sealed to parents under Andrew Robinson.

There were no railroads then, and the journey was made by boat, and stagecoachs, starting in May. They reached Lafayette, Indiana in June, where they resided until 1841, when they settled in Carroll County, Indiana (near Camden). Here he built and carried on a woollen mill which, in his later years, he sold and spent his last years on his farm near Camden, Indiana. He died at the home of his son, Plato, at Camden.
