Thomas DEWEES
Active in the Revolution; at one period he was in charge of the military prison at Philadelphia, as a letter to the President of the Council gives evidence.
Was distinguished in other countries, as in his own. He became associated with his relative, the noted Dr. Rush. The cemetery is at Ninth & Fitzwater St's in Philadelphia. I also have his birthplace as Douglas, Philadelphia, PA. (Jonathan Robeson Tree).
