                   MISS TITUS WILL WED N. T. ROGERS
Engagement To Be Announced This Evening at Dinner Given by Parents
Mr. and Mrs. J. Welling Titus of 170 West State Street will give a dinner tonight at which they will announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Annie Hamilton Titus, to Norman Tallman Rogers of 324 West State, Street. Both Mr. Rogers and Miss Titus come of a long line of Jersey ancestors.
Mr. Rogers is the son of Mrs. and the late Irvin W. Rogers and brother to Dr. Lawrence H. Rogers, who has recently been appointed City Physician. Mr. Rogers was born in Trenton and was educated at the State Schools, where he graduated in the class of 1910, being president of his class. He went from there to Princeton and will graduate next month with the class of 1914. He is vice president of the Cloister Inn Club of Princeton.
J. Welling Titus was one of the firm of B. W. Titus Sons, who owned and operated large woolen mills in Trenton until recently. Miss Titus great-great-grandfather, William S. Pennington, was appointed Governor of New Jersey in 1813. Her great-grandfather, General Samuel FitzRandolph Hamilton, was the first Mayor of Trenton to be elected by the people. He was also Quartermaster General of New Jersey from about 1830 to 1855. He grandfather, Colonel Morris Robeson Hamilton, was the oldest editor in the state at the time of his death, once having owned and edited the old Tue. American. He was also the oldest living graduate of Princeton University and was for many years State Librarian.
The guests this evening, besides the two families, will be: Mr. and Mrs. Morris Robeson Sherrerd, of Newark; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gade, of Germantown; Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Hamilton, of Newton, Mass.
