                   They came to OH in 1826, the year preceeding his father. In 1827 he bought a tract of land just south of his father. He built a log house upon it and hegan to clear his farm. Most of his children died in infancy. Don't know exactly how many there were. In the 1860s he was induced by his son, Seth ti move to IND, where he lived in various locations in St. Joseph County. He lived in Oscaola,, South of Mishawaka and elsewhere. About 1869 he moved to Van Buren County, Michigan, and settled with Seth and Electa near Southhaven. He was never very prosperous and in his later years was afflicted with asthma.

                   Of Perry, Ohio. Grew to maturity. his wife forsook him in South haven and took the 2 little girls with her. He then lead a wandering life for 15 years moving from village to village and then to OH, WI, and then on to Leonidus, MI. He kept a harness shop there for several years. He left his second wife after not very long to live in OH.
