                   When I began doing genealogy work about 1975, I asked one of my distant relatives about getting some records and she mentioned that Emily Woods wanted me to write to her.  I thought that I was unqualified as a genealogist to write to her and so I didn't.  Years later, a man from Washington wrote me and said he got my name and address from the LDS Church in his area (although he is not a member) and wanted some information on the Helm line.  I gave him what I could and he sent me some information.  I put it in the file and said when I graduate from college I will get back to doing genealogy.  One fast Sunday I came down to look over some records and it all of a sudden occured to me that these people's information was sent to me so I could do their work.  Emily Woods was one of those people.
