Samuel NEVERS
Samuel and Anna Neves came to Saint John River from New Engladn about 1765. Athey settled in that part of Maugerville Township which became the Parish of Shefield, in Sunbury County. He left a will 30 July 1808 whch was proved by William Hubbard, Surrogate for Sunbury County, New Brunswick.

Samuel and Elizabeth grew up in Maugerville, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, where their families lived and were married there. Shortly after their marriage they moved about 80 miles up river to the Parish of Wakefield, Carleton Co., where Samuel was granted Lot 25 (280) acres fronting the west side of the Saint John River at Victoria Corner. In 1824 they sold their grant and with their children and some other families removed to Blenheim, Oxford County. Lucy , one if his daughters, and Isaac Innis may have made the trip from Maugerville, Sunbury County, N.B. to Blenheim, Oxford County, Ontario
He married Anna Burrell 2 Apr 1763 at Brunswick, Cumberland, Maine . Anna Burrell was born at Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts 24 Oct 1743 daughter of John Burrell and Anna Vinton .
