Marie died peacefully in her room at the Meadows Care Center, 950 South 400 East, St. George, UT.  She had been going downhill for over a year but within the two weeks of her life could not swallow and was put on hospice exactly a week before she died.  She was buried in the St. George Cemetery on December 27, 2010, next to her first husband, Fred Booth.
