                   Of Tuscarora.
Silversmith by trade. Learned his art in Baltimore.
Was considered a veteran of the War of 1812, for this service he received a grant of 160 acres of public land. Farming was his business in the Tuscarora Valley and in Allegheny County. He collected taxes for the city and county of Alleghenyas toll collector on the Feseral Street Bridge connecting Pittsburgh and Allegheny.
Religion: Associate Reformed Church in Tuscarora and Allegheny.
Physically: Medium height and rather stout. He had several slight strokes.
Met with an accident in 1879 which confined him to bed.
Lived on North Ave. Allegheny.

                   This was originally called Mifflin County. Born in a stone house on the banks ofthe Juniata River. She lived in Mifflin, Allegheny, and Butler Counties as a young girl. She lived in the town of Allegheny (then called Allegheny Town), almost all of her life except when she lived in Tuscarora Valley between 1826- 1828.
Religion: Presbyterian. Joined the First Presbyterian Church, Pittsburg in 1822.In 1826, she transferred her membership to the Associate Reformed Church of Tuscarora. 1828, she joined the First A.R. Church in Pittsburgh. 1831 she joined the First A.R. Church in Allegheny, which remained her home until her death in 1883.
She was 5'5 1/2 ", fair complexion, brown hair and blue eyes.
She died at # 202 North Ave., Allegheny. She had lived there for 54 years. She died from a  complication of diseases.
