David was a native of Huntingdon County, below Birmingham. He subsequently removed to Foot of Ten, where he was engaged in tanning. In 1839 he moved to what later became Altoona, purchased 220 acres of land, and occupied it until 1849, whenhe sold it to a Mr. Wright. (see attached article) He then went to Morrison's Cove, and thence to Hollidaysburg, where he died in 1880. He married Sarah at the Irwin Home, in Frankstown Township, PA. Earlier he had resided in Bedford township. He lived in Blair county for many years and was justice of the peace in Allegheny Township. I also have a death place as Tyrone, PA. At Rosemond's death he was in Pleasant Valley. Information from Robeson Geneology. John Robeson and Sarah Robeson administrators. I have seen his headstone. He was buried with both of his wives. I have a Robert J. Robeson in the IGI file, who was born 4 Mar 1852, of Birmingham, Huntingdon, PA. Who died as a child and was sealed to his parents on 27 Jun 1933 SLAKE. He was reportedly of Bedford County in 1851 when his daughter Elizabeth got married.
Died 24 Apr. according to the headstone. Obit confirms this. Obit says On Wed Apr 24th, 1850, in Bedford county, PA. Mrs, Susannah Robeson, wife of David Robeson, Esq,. aged 37 years 2 months and 13 days. The deceased was for the last 7 years a worthy and devoted member of the BaptistChurch; she gave evidence to all with whom she associated that her profession was sincere, and her hope steadfast. She has been separated from a kind husband and affectionate children who deeply feel her loss; and who are reminded bu this afflictive dispensation of The Father of Mercies, that nothing here is abiding. They are thus much nearer related to the spirit world. There is a voice that speaks the words of consolation in reference to our departed friends. "Refrain thy voice from weeping and thine eyes from tears, for they shall come again from theland of the enemy." "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints."

The death date of 1890 came from Horace- Andrew Robeson, Vol III, I think that this was the later information. He was in the 1880 census. I have a death place also of Sinking Valley, Blair, PA. Andrew D. Robeson One of Sinking Valley's Well known and highly educated residents died. At his home in Sinking Valley, about 5 miles from Tyrone, Andrew D. Robeson, after a lingering and painful illness, passed away at 7:20 oclock last night. He was afflicted with internal cancer and was a severe sufferer for the past year ofso. The deceased was born on Feb 22, 1830, and was aged at death 68 years and 8 months. His birthplace was at the Cillage of Foot - of Ten, at the foot of thesouth incline of the old Portage railway, in Allegheny township, near Hollidaysburg. Previous to becoming a farmer in Sinking Valley he had resided for seven years inthe well known stone house .at Shoenberger station. 40 years ago he moved upon the farm where he continued to reside uninterupitedly until his death. His wife, whose maiden name was Margaret Bobbm survives him, together with two daughter and two sons, Mrs, Woods Smith, Wilbur O., Charles Albert, and Anna M., all of SInking Valley. He is also survived by a sister and brother, Mrs. John London (? Louden) of Altoona, and Samuel Robeson, of Allegheny township; and 2 step brothers, Robert and Horace Robeson of Altoona. Mr. Robeson was a consistent and active member of the Birmingham Presbyterian church, serving many years as trustee and deacon. He was a Republican in politics and took a lively interest in public affairs, serving at various times as scool director, supervisor, tax collector, and in other places of trust for Tyrone township. He was a man of endearing personality, highly respected by all who knew him, and especially beloved in the family circle where he will be so sorely missed. The funeral services at his late home at 10 oclock Wed morning. Interment in theMethodist cemetery in Birmingham.

I also have a birthdate of 23 Dec. 1840. I took the one from " 20th Century History of Altoona and Blair County, PA. and Representative Citizens", by Jesse C. Sell. 1911. It states that he was a well known dairyman residing on his farm of 22 acres in Allegheny Township, near Robeson's Corners, Blair County, PA. He accompanied his parents in his boyhood, to Woodbury Township, and from there, in 1852, to Allegheny Township. There he grew to manhood, attending the township schools, and then devoting himself to mainly dairying, his land being particularly well adalpted to this industry. For 12 years he was foreman for his brother John C. Robeson, who operated a saw mill. He was a Republican. He was well known all over Blair County and was equally familiar with its people and localities. "Anyone who has spent as many years as he did hauling logs over the mountains in the early days, is entitled to speak authoritatively of the wonderful changes which have taken place in Blair County in an ordinary lifetime. He was the first partyto haul a monument into the cemetery at Altoona". Horace had his Residence: Dell Delight, Hollidaysburg, PA. Cemetery records have a birthdate of 1841. Temple work done under Robinson. In the 1910 census in Alleghany Township, Blair, PA. Was mentioned in Robert Irwin Robeson's obituary. He was living in Hollidaysburgat the time.
His main business was lumbering and he operated a saw mill. Was a well known resident of Frankstownship. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. History of Blair County, PA. states that he lived in Scott's Valley. Headstone viewed. Endowed and sealed under Robinson. Actually done both ways.

No name or gender is on the headstone. It apparently died with the mother.
He married Susannah Moore 19 Mar 1829 at Warriors Mark, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania . Susannah Moore was born at Blair, Pennsylvania 11 Feb 1813 daughter of Joseph Moore and Elizabeth Park .
