Research note: On p. 77 of "An Historical and Genealogical Account of Andrew Robeson of Scotland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and his Descendants from 1653-1916, by Susan Stroud Robeson and Caroline Franciscus Stroud, it shows that in addition to the children listed for Thomas Robeson and Jane Simmons, there were three Simmons children, Elizabeth, Mary, and Edward, brought to the marriage. This indicates a first marriage for Jane, and would put her birth date earlier. Notethat with an earlier birth than 1741, it would have been difficult for her to be having a child in 1783, acknowledging that the births of the children are estimated. Research needed. AFN: 22 KK - B24. Of Bucks County, PA. This could also be Simmonds. She died after her husband.
Resided in Ohio. I also have a birthdate of 1758 (Kings Meadow). Sealed as Robinson.

Many of his descendents have settled in the Western States. His wife was born in Ireland, her mother however, was a native of Wales; the family first came to America when Rosamond was five years old; her sister married William, a brother of Andrew Robeson. Andrew's son Moses, used to speak of a relative of his father's, an uncle, from NC, who visited them when Moses was a boy. He told them of the condition of NC after the Revolution, and that the a county in NC was named for the "Robeson" family. The uncle was doubtless David Robeson, uncle to Andrew.
