I also have a 7 Aug (and a 17 Jul 1787) 1797 birthdate. Tombstone stated died at age 87 years, 4 months, 19 days, this would make the birth year about 1787.

1850 Census:
Graff, Henry 63 Farmer, PA, Paradise
              Fronica 59
              Leah 38
              Uriah 17

1860 - listed under Henry Grafe. Lived in Paradise.

1870 census he appeared to be living in Paradise. It said that he was a R Mason. He was 84. Frances was with him.

Death record at St. John's Lutheran Church in Abbottstown. Aged 87 - 4- 20. Possibly a death date of 16 Dec 1875.

I found his grave on 6/23/06 - its on the other side of the street from the church, near where Howard is buried. It is a flat marker, on the ground, it had a flag on it. I photographed it. All I could see was Henry Graff, 87 years, ___, 19 days.

There is a church record for John Henry Graef, son of John Henry Graef and Margaret Graff (Settles question of who is mother is). Matthias was the sponsor, which also solves the problem of 1793 vs 1787 - because the other Matthias (Philipina Stormer) had died by that time. The birthdate on that was 27 Jul 1787.

I have some deeds in which he is party.

Notes:
I photographed a headstone at St. John's on 6/23/06. It is right next to Henry. It says wife of Henry Graff, died, July 15, 1877. That was all that I could read. It says Frances.

She is called "Veronica" on a deed from Henry to Uriah in 1866.

FRONIGA is on the Church records. Baptized under FRONIGA. Her parents are Johannes Doll and Chatarina.
Her tombstone stated she was age 86 years, 1 month and 8 days.

I have Fronica buried at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Abbottstown, buried by Rev.W.F. Colliflower. Died 17 Jul 1877, aged 86 - 1- 8. But I have seen her headstone in St. Johns.

She was listed as Froniga in the 1850 census.
1870 census stated that she could not read and write.
Sealed to John Doll and Maria.

Groff book has her baptized in 8 Oct 1791, daughter of John Doll and Catharina Maria Stover. 6-21-09 - I have no proof that she was a Stover, I have checked many places, and have chosen to not go with the last name.

I am 90% sure that this these are the same Jonathan Graffs.
6/15/09 - I have definite proof that this is our Jonathan. In the Funeral home records for Augusta, it states that her father Jonathan was born in Abbottstown, York, PA.

Hezekiah and Jonathan Graff were blacksmiths in Mt. Vernon. Mentioned in History of Knox County - pg 399.
History of Abbottstown states that Blacksmithing was one of the occupations of Abbottstown. Henry Grafe (died 1854) and wife Susannah signed one such apprentice document in that book.

1840 he was in Mount Vernon. There was 1 male under 5, 2 males between 20 and 30, and one female between 20 and 30.
1858 - Jonathan was 1st member of the board of education.
1860 in Mt. Vernon. All 6 kids were there. He was a blacksmith.
1870 census Jonathan had a wife Matilda, and son, Henry (aged 32, who was a blacksmith). Henry was born in PA. Son Jonathan and wife Matilda lived next door.
1879 - The Ohio Mutual Aid Association - Jonathan was one of the blacksmiths. There was also a J.A. Graff, who was one of the principal merchants.

1880 - In Mt. Vernon, Knox, Ohio. His wife apparently had already passed away. He was a blacksmith, aged 68.
Another son, I am assuming, named Jonathan, lived next door. He was 21 years old and married to Ida. They were 21 and 19 years old and born in OH.
His son-in-law and his family were living with him at the time. The daughter would have been Augusta. Her children were Albert J., Jonathan and Harry.

Obituary from the Democratic Banner:
"Jonathan Graff, died 5-3-1900 at age 89, wife Matilda, died at his home on E. Front St., his wife died many years ago. Survived by following children; Jonathan Graff & Mrs. Al Williams of this city & Mrs. E. Vance of Columbus. Buried at Mount View Cemetery."

Blacksmith, b. Adams Co, Mar 1836, 9 children, 3 survive, Mrs. Williams, Mr. Jonathan Graff (Jr), and Mrs Agnew Vance (Matilda). Died at daughter Augusta Willams.

3/26/10 -There is a Mary Graff in the family burial plot, who was born about 1812/13. She died at age 72. cause of death, cancer. I think that she is Mrs. Mary McLain, who a Jonathan Graff married on 26 Dec 1882. They were married by C.L. Work.

1870 she was also living with her parents. (Laha Grafe).

Headstone stays died at 56 - 9 - 14. She died on Sep 23 1868.She is buried by Tempest and Anna Mary Wilson.
Named on a grant deed granting land to her brother Uriah from father Henry on 5 Mar 1866. She was single at that time.

Somewhere someone put the 1 May 1812, but that wouldn't make sense with the headstone. Lean and Jonathan must have been twins.

His will is dated 12 Jun 1882, probated 30 Oct 1889. Will probate: York Historical Society, Source Bk FF, pg 248.
He was living in Paradise Twp, and is listed as a yeoman.
In the will his wife is described as his beloved wife in lieu of her dower at common law?? Were they not married???
In the will it is interesting to note that he bequeaths a portion to Elizabeth Graff, who is intermarried with my son Tempest W. Graff, but named Albert A. amd Joseph W. Graff. I don't have wives for them, but it is interesting to note thatElizabeth is mentioned each time, and nont him

Frances Graff Leckrone is buried in Neiman'sgraveyard in Shiloh York County, near Shiloh Lutheran Church along with 2 otherLeckrone daughters, I believe.

I am assuming this is him. He was born in PA about the right time. One census says 1825 one says 1827.
The Amos in the census was a carpenter. His address was 205 Sixteenth San Francisco in 1889.
He was married to Emily J.
Apparently moved to CA about 1875.
Amos was not listed in the 1910 census. Emily is listed as a widow.

He had died by 1 Mar 1885, when Mattie, his wife was listed as a widow. She had a 3 month old child (female), so it makes sense that he died between Feb 1884 -Mar 1885.
