1944 - when he died he had 2 grandchildren.

East Berlin News: 8 Apr 1927. A fracture of the right leg, suffered on Mar 23, when he was kicked by a horse while in the stables of Uriah Graff, West York, where he was employed, proved fatal Friday to Jonas Smith, at the West Side sanitorium. He was aged 77 years. Smith was found in a helpless condition by his employer on the morning of the accident. He was immediately rushed to the samitorium.

East Berlin News: 25 Jan 1929: Uriah Graff, West York, who is well known here, is anxious to hear from someone who will suggest a way to remove paint from his whiskers and hair. Last Saturday evening Mr. Graff went to the bath room to shaveand in mistake got a tube of green paint for shaving cream. This he put on the shaving brush and smeared all over his face, before he knew what it was. In his effort to remove the paint from his face, he got it into the hair of his head and thus far has been unable to remove it.

Oct 2, 1944 - The Gettysburg Times: "Elderly Man is Hit-Run Victim"
Injuries sustained Friday night when he was struck by a hit-run driver proved fatal to Uriah Graff, 75 years old, West York, shortly before 5 o'clock Saturday morning at the West Side sanitarium. Death was attributed to a crushed and fractured pelvis, head chest and internal injuries.
Mr Graff was crossing West Market street in the 1500 block in West York around 8o'clock Friday night when he was struck.
The victim is survived by one son, Herald Graff, with whom he resided; a daughter, Mrs. James Baugher, Roselle, N.J. ,two grandchildren, and three sisters; Mrs Kate Rebert, Hanover. Mrs. Clara Maul, Carlin, Nev.; and Mrs. Ida Sheeley, New Oxford. He was a member of the Reliance Fire Company, West York.
Funeral services from the A.F. Koller funeral home, 1415 West Market street, York. Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in Mt. Rose cemetery.

                   Sep 1919 New Oxford item: Miss Myrtle Graff, daughter of Uriah Graff, of West York, who has been spending the past six weeks with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Sheely, Lincoln Way, East, returned to her home last Thursday.
1944 - She is listed as alive in her father's obit. She was living in Roselle, N.J.
1950 - she was in Roselle, N.J.
1951 - lived at 132 W. 6th Ave., Roselle, N.J.
1966 - lived in Littlestown.

New Oxford Item 20 Aug 1931: Marriages:  Baugher - Graff

James K. Baugher, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Baugher, New Oxford, and Myrtle S. Graff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Graff, West York, were married at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Washington Memorial chapel, Valley Forge, the Rev, Dr. W. Herbert Burk, officiating. They were unattended. The bride was attired in a white suit, with an embroidered net blouse and a white picture hat. She wore a shoulderette of orchids, yellow roses and lillies of the valley.
The bride and bridegroom left Philadelphia by boat for Boston and other points along the New England coast. After Sep 10 they will reside in Roselle, N.J. whereMr. Baugher is a teacher of the Abraham Clark high school.
Mrs. Baugher was formerly employed in the office of the Pfaltz-graff Pottery company, York.

The Gettysburg Times: 5 Oct 1988 -  Myrtle S. Graff Baugher, 85, formerly of Gettysburg, died at the Brethern Home in New Oxford, Tuesday.
Her husband, James K. Baugher, died in 1967. She was born in York, the daughter of the late Uriah and Minnie Redman Graff. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Gettysburg and the Historical Society of Gettysburg.
Surviving her are four nephews and one niece,
Services will be held Thursday at 10AM at the Feiser Funeral Home in New Oxford with her pastor, the Rev. Daniel T. Hans, officiating. Internent will be in the New Oxford Cemetery.

1966 - Mr. and Mrs. Harold Graff, of York, were at a birthday party for Mrs. Lottie Baugher.  That would have been his sister's mother-in-law.

There was a HAROLD Graff, who was executor of Ida Sheleys estate along with Grace (aunt) and Myrtle (sister). He lived at 562 Boyd Ave. Martinsburg, W.VA.
Harold Graff was back in York in 1966. He was at a party @ Myrtle's house. It was Mr. and Mrs. Harold Graff, York.
