There is a Thomas Irwin Smith in the Hollidaysburg Prebyterian Cemetery. Born 1855, died 1932, could he belong to this family??? He has a Blanche E. born 1859, died 1931. They have a Mary B and Janet e. buried with them.
Was mentioned in her father's will dated 27 Apr 1849.

Mrs. Thomas Smith, mother of Woods Smith, of Tyrone township, died at her home, at Hollidaysburg Wednesday evening at 8 oclock, of old age, being 83 years old. The funeral occured this afternoon at Hollidaysburg.

James Woods Smith, a well known farmer and prominent citizen, died at his home in Sinking Valley, yesterday morning at 9 oclock, of Bright's disease, after a four weeks confinement to his home. The deceased was the son of Thomas and matildaSmith, both deceased, and was born in Frankstown township, May 4, 1846, being aged at death 58 years, 4 months and 10 days. He was a member and at time of death an elder of the Presbyterian church at Birmingham. He is survived by his wife,Florence L. (Robeson) Smith, and the following children, viz: Wilbur I., Helen W., Joseph F., Leonora F., and Donald R. Smith, all at the family home. A brother, Irvin Smith of Hollidaysburg, also survives the deceased. Mr. Smith had been a resident of Sinking Valley since 1879. The funeral will take place Sep 17.  Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery, Tyrone.
