Gleim, 1991: As early as 1783, Isaac Latshaw was listed as a resident of Reading Twp with 200 acres and five inhabitants. At this time he owned four cattle, fourhorses, eight sheep and one still. The Latshaw family purchased a farm whichlay close to the Kuhn Fording. The Latshaw family lived in a home in whichthe first floor was of stone construction and the second floor of logs.
