                   I took the name from the headstone. PFC Co. G, 2 Battalion, PA Vol-Civil War.
He was listed in the 1880 census, birthplace not given. He was a moulder. They were living in Altoona with a Jacob Cain family. 1880 had his birthdate about 1846.

1920 - His father was born in PA, his mother in Germany.

my only recollection of my greatgrandmother
back in 1940s she spent some time in winter in florada. and sent fruit backto usin wisconsin.I don't ever remember seeing her.other then on picture with myfather and grandfather at nagawicka lake. at grandfathers cottage. I was about threeyears old. In 1938 Robert Seefeld. P.S fruit from florada was very special; here in wisconsin .some of the fruit I had never seen before. that is the differencein times between the 40s and 2007 when fruit can be purchased the year around.
