York Archives, Genealogical report confirms John Emig was married to Mary Margaret, daughter of Valentine Grantz, late of York, blacksmith. Orphans Court DocketA 73, Oct 30, 1756.
The Genealogical report is V.
The orphans court document, A, 55  12 Jun 1755 states that Mary Margaret was from a former wife.
She was not listed in her apparent step-mother's will on 5 oct 1776, although she was alive.
Will proved 27 Apr 1799.
Margaret was living in Paradise Twp. when she wrote her will and died.

                   She was a minor child at the death of her father.
                  

                   Strinestown is now Conewago.
Possibly another child - Heinrich, born 1762.
                  

                   She is only mentioned along with Mary Elizabeth once on 12 Jun 1755. Then it appears that the Elizabeth that is referred to as Elizabeth, may be the other Elizabeth. She is not mentioned separately in 1764.

                   He was a minor child at the death of his father. Apprenticed to his brother Valentine, a blacksmith.
                  

                   He was a minor on 12 June 1755, as he had a guardian, Martin Eichelberger. He was losted as 18 years old in another orphans court document on 28 Nov 1758.
He was bound by his guardian to Jonas Rudisilly, blacksmith.
