Valentin, son of Johannes and Maria Margreth Ehmig, was baptized 22 Jan 1749. Sponsors: Valentin and Elizabeth Krantz. (Private Register of jacob Lischy, V.D.M.)

Valentine Ehmig, who in 1802 bought a farm at what is now called Emigsville. He was named for his grandfather, Valentine Krantz, and he served in the Revolutionfrom York County.

He died at 84-5-1.

I think this is the George that moved to Dover and died about 29 Jan 1944. I hadthe death date as 1844, and the rest seems to fit.

There is a Jacob Emig, who died before 6 Aug 1847, leaving; Henry Jackson,  Adam, made guardians of William Loucks, for estate from their grandfather, Jacob Loucks.
He also left Elizabeth, Sarah and Rebecca Emig, other grandchildren of Jacob Loucks. They were made guardians of Valentine Emig (their other grandfather).

There is a Jacob, who died at 82-8-6, died on 11 Sep 1868, buried at Wolf's.
