Notes:
10 Jan 1840 - I had this as a birthdate, but this is impossible. Ancesteral filehas 1 Jul 1812 also.
Lee County, Iowa - I had this as a birthplace, but this is also unlikely. AF hasBath, NH.
I took the Church archives information. He was in Kirtland.

He moved to Adam-ondi-Ahman after the mob burned his house in Gallatin followingthe election battle of 6 Aug 1838.
When they were forced to leave Diahman in Nov 1838, they moved to Log Creek in Caldwell County, where their first four children were born 1840 - 1843. They emmigrated to UT from Nauvoo in 1848.
(Sacred Places - Missouri). Apparently Chapman kept a very precise journal and is quoted many times in the book. His cabin site is apparently still visible at times in the Valley of Adam-ondi-Ahman. I did not see it when I was there in 2006, there was much foliage.
