Charles BOSLER

                   He was educated at Friend's Central School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvaniaand Philadelphia Business Coolege from which he graduated in 1864. Hesucceeded his father as proprietor of the Ogontz flour and feed millsin 1872 and was still operating them at his death. He was prominentlyidentified with the affairs of the community in which he lived and inbusiness and financial affairs of the city, serving asa director ofthe National Bank of Gemantown, Pennsylvania, a trustee of the PennMutual Life Insurance Co., and filling a number of otherdirectorships. He was aman of wide influence in political matters, amember of the Union League and wasa delegate to numerous state,congessional and county conventions of the Republican Party and to theNational Conventions of 1884,1888,1892, 1896 and 1900, and was apresidential elector in 1904. He was a man much honored and respectedwherever he was known.
