Calvin K. HERTZOG

                   I had a marriage date of 1890, however, Sylvia got the one I used from a list ofmarriages of the area. She was probably called Jane.
She was listed as Jane on the headstone of her daughter Mary E.
She signed her name as Sarah J. Graff in 1889 as a witness for her grandmother'srenunciation.
Was called Jennie in the 1900 census. George O. was with them.
1900 had 4 children, 3 were living, but only George O was listed with them. Thatdoesn't make sense because I know of 3 who had already died.
1920 was married to Calvin and living in Exeter, Berks, PA. None of her kids were with her.
1930 she was married to Calvin and living in Exeter, PA. She was listed as SarahJ.

Mrs. Calvin K. Hertzog
Mrs. Sara Jane Graff Hertzog, wife of Calvin K. Hertzog, and a former resident of near Abbottstown, died at her home in St. Lawrence, near Reading,, Saturday morning at 2 o'clock. She was aged 64 years and had been ill for some time. Mrs. Hertzog was married twice. Her first marriage was William K. Forry, near Abbottstown. SHe had a number of relatives in teh vicinity of Hanover.
Mrs. Hertzog, who was a daughter of the late Tempest A. and Elizabeth (Leib) Graff, is survived by her husband, two sons by the first marriage, George Forry, athome, and Albert Forry, Lancaster; a stepson, Jacob Hertzog. West Lawn; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Henry Faber, Mrs. Paul Lo-b, and Mrs. Raymond DuGuay, all of Reading; five grandchildren, four great -grandchildren; three brothers - Albert Graff, Reading, Louis, York, and Lee, California, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Sprenkle, Jenkintown.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Lutz funeral home, Reading. Interment at the Lutheran Cemetery in Abbottstown.
