Notes:
Peter built a house, called "Milverton" on the opposite side of Ridge Road, for Andrew. This was a very attractive place with beautiful grounds and fine trees. It was used as a hotel under the name of "Riverside Mansion". ??? if still there.
Andrew moved to New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1817. His business was in connection with the whaling industry and its products. In 1824, he established, at Fall River, the first "Calico Printing Works" in the Country; in the early forties his sons, William and Andrew were associated with him, under the firm name of "A. Robeson & SOns."

Andrew Robeson - Whaleman's Shipping lists and Merchants Transcript;. 16 Dec 1862
Sudden Death of a Worthy Citizen- we regret to record the sudden death of Andrew Robeons, Esq., a highly esteemed citizen of New Bedford, which event occuredin the cars at Boston on Monday, the 8th, inst., just as he was about to leave that city on a visit to his son at Jamaica Plains. The cause of his disease was apoplexy. Mr. R. was about 75 years of age, a native of PA, but a resident of this city for about half a century. A man of unyielding integrity, and a philanthropist in the true sense of the word. The community in his death, has lost a goodman.
