She was extremely fond of animals, and was capable of handling the most vicious animal. She lived most of her life at the homestead at Roxboro.
She was an accomplished horsewomen. She was the daughter of Peter, of the Robeson Mills, at the mouth of the Wissahickon. She was often seen riding acriss the country, following her father's pack of hounds. Her family entertained the First City Troop in 1794, after a campaign of the Whiskey Insurrection. The presented her a silver cup. In her youth she would break her father's colt's on his farm on the Wissachickon. To the farm she returned after her husband's death. In her ninetieth year she took a ride on horseback. Ancient and modern Germantown, Mount Airy and Chestnut Hill.
This article said she was the daughter of Peter, not Jonathan. HUMMMMMMM 6/26/2011.
I also have Jul 5,1803 as a birthdate. Moved to Oregon. This was from the Robeson Genealogy. Said he died in 1873.
They were in CA in 1860, Iowa in 1850. His brother George was reportedly killed in 1855, going to CA.
There is a headstone with the dates 4 Jul 1800 - Jun 22 1875. This is in the Summit Cemetery. He was an MD. I think that this is him. All info seems to look like he had various birthdates for the same person.
