1. Large percentage of sources claim she was the daughter of Nicholas Hocker.
2. She appears rather to be the daughter of Nicholas' sister, Margaret, who married James Hook. They had a duaghter born a few years earlier in 1708.
3. Mary, daughter of Nicholas, would have been 11 or 12 years old when marrying Benjamin Thrasher in 1725
