NOTES: The 1900 U.S. Census indicates that Shem T.T. Ingram was the father of seven children of which only three were living. Because of the five year gap between the births of Alice and Peter, it is assumed that the missing child was born sometime between those years. The name and the sex of child #3 is unknown.
RESEARCH NOTES: 1. Margaret was listed as age 27, born in Georgia of Georgia born parents. However, her husband was listed as age 30 in the same census and he was actually 37. Therefore, it is conceivable that Margaret was born prior to 1852, perhaps as early as 1846. NAME: Maggie/Meg/Peggy Johnson/Johnston
